Hello music lovers!  Wow, this summer delivered some truly amazing shows! Hoping the end of summer 2024 is still bringing much music, joy and sunshine to all. 

 

Aerosmith announced they are packing it up due to Steven Tylers' broken vocal chords and also possibly a contributing factor may be due to Tylers' repeated struggle with his addiction and recovery journeys. I'm super disappointed as Aerosmith is one the bands that I have not seen or shot live - ever! They were supposed to be in the Bay Area in November and I was really looking forward to it, but it certainly looks as if it's not going to happen now and possibly ever.

It's also an election year and one side has been pummeled with musicians speaking up, sending cease and desist letters and in some cases suing for that side using their music without consent. The artists consist of Adele, Beyonce, Jack White, Celine Dion, Earth Wind and Fire, Foo Fighters, George Harrison, Guns and Roses, Isaac Hayes, The White Stripes, Linkin Park, Neil Young, Nickelback, Ozzy Osbourne, Pharrell, Prince, R.E.M., Rhianna, Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, Steven Tyler, Queen and more. We are all also waiting on pins and needles for the rumoured big announcement of the giant Taylor Swift/Beyonce Endorsement Concert for Kamala Harris. In the meantime, Taylor Swift wasted no time to endorse Kamala Harris within minutes of the end of the debate. And by doing so, she instantly drove more than 337,000 visitors to vote.gov with Kamala Harris.  So there is lotsa music news surrounding this election year.
