The world is still a mess. But the good news is live music is opening up everywhere. All the festivals that have been postponed, and/or cancelled are being put back on the calendar and gatherings are resuming slowly. Even NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), is taking place this year! Whilst that is all happening...Covid is now raging once again. The difference this time is the vaccine. Now that we are vaccinated, even when we come down with Covid, in most cases it's not as severe as it was without the vaccine. The people that lie in hospital beds from Covid now are mainly the unvaccinated. The Covid death toll in the U.S. has reached one million this week. And masks are now optional just about everywhere. I still chose to wear the mask whereas most others I am seeing, do not. I've gone to concerts, bars, restaurants, meetings and a few parties in the last couple weeks. When I do, I'm always masked up. Sometimes, in fact mostly, I am the only one in a mask. I've gotten used to that too now, whereas a few weeks ago I did feel a bit odd being the only masked person in the room. Now I have no problem with it. Its all down to personal choice. Lets all just see what happens in the next month or so with Covid. It seems to have a mind of its own. All we can do is try our best to be careful. A mask is a very small ask, in my opinion. But I understand we do not all agree. And, THAT IS OKAY!

Remember..."Life is short...break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile".
