An Intimate Evening with Roger Daltrey
Roger Daltrey and nearly the entire WHO band, (minus Pete Townshend), came to Santa Rosa on Friday evening Sept 4 and played a 90 minute set at the LBC. I'm writing this piece as a lifelong WHO superfan. I've attended most of their tours on both sides of the pond, since the 70's and I've also attended many of Roger's solo shows. The Alterman Images music photography exhibit opened on the 8th of August. Opening day was a smashing success, thanks to all the people who showed up to support the project. Now the public is invited to come and check it out! On weekdays, ask at Doobie Nights for Damon to see the exhibit, and he will point you upstairs to check it out. 'Capturing Music Through the Lens' Finds a Home in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa got louder, brighter, and a lot more rock and roll with the grand opening of the only permanent music photography gallery in the North Bay. It's located above Doobie Nights Dispensary and Dobe Coffee Shop (coffee shop opening soon), at 3011 Santa Rosa Ave. The gallery opening day was a smashing success, thanks to nearly a hundred people who showed up and supported this project that's so near and dear to my heart.
